I work with small and medium sized businesses that run on email and spreadsheets. The pattern is the same everywhere. The work itself is fine, but too much of the week goes on typing the same client details into four places, chasing invoices nobody followed up on, and answering the same four questions. I build the systems that take those jobs over, on top of the software you already pay for, so nothing has to be replaced or relearned.

Before this I spent years as a designer and filmmaker. That matters more than it sounds like it should, because at the end of every one of these systems is a message a real client reads. Most automation fails there rather than in the plumbing.
